Jack Smith as the Good Shepherd
These are two photos from one of Jack Smith’s slide show series. I’ve seen the character that he plays in these frames referred to as Abraham, Moses, and John the Baptist by various commentators over the years, but as today is Easter, I felt it was most appropriate, given the actions depicted here, that I identify Him as the Good Shepherd, especially as he is shown applying false eyelashes to a dead sheep (not a goat as Bjarne Melgaard would have it.)
from Fantoft Stavkirke’s website - the part of their history referring to the church arson done by members of the Norwegian black metal scene
don’t believe anything Bill Gould says! haha! (fnm - monsters of rock x)
I wish Bill Gould was my cool uncle.
VHS tapes are something I like to hunt for in flea markets and used book stores and garage sales as opposed to ordering them online but I think that in the last two years I’ve literally cleaned out every place in Seminole and Orange County that sells them. It’s gotten to the point that I can practically memorize the inventories of a few of these places and the shop owners know me on a first-name basis.
